Ladies and gentlemen,
Previously, this building was used for hosting official receptions, both for domestic and foreign government officials and diplomats. After the transition to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in 1992, the provincial government repurposed the building as Phousi Conference Hall. In 2002, the provincial leadership transferred the building to the Department of Information, Culture, and Tourism, which converted it into the Phra Lak Phra Ram Theater on January 25, 2002. The building was originally constructed in 1972.
